Main responsibilities included but not limited to the following:  Supervision of professional academic staff. Active teaching / Lecturing of full-time, part time and distance students / Deliver lectures in public health & epidemiology, veterinary pestology & zoonoses.  Preparation of lectures and module packs for full-time, part-time and distance students / Develop curriculum for new course programs.  Preparation of quality examination papers, marking and compilation of results.  General assessment of students’ performance and keeping of accurate data.  Assisting students in designing and implementing public health research projects  Developing an approved curriculum.  Registration of students and programs in the school with professional bodies.  Member of senate (Attend senate meetings as Dean of School of Health Sciences).  Coordinate development of the calendar of training events  Any other functions as assigned.
