During the first part of my employment (Mar 2016 - Nov 2017), I was appointed HR Manager for the company, duties included (but not limited to): Recruitment and Selection, Onboarding, Performance Management, Employee Relations, Skills Development, Corporate social Responsibility. During this time I also implemented an open source HR Management system. Then the company had financial problems and was struggling to pay salaries, and I resigned from them. Started working with them again in Jan 2019 and my title was SOC Manager, however the role was mostly comprised of HR duties, which included, amongst others the following: Managing workflows, Supervising SOC staff, Performance Management, Recruitment, Onboarding and Progressive discipline.

I started with Performanta as an IT intern. After completing my internship, I was appointed as Systems administrator to support the company's internal IT needs. I soon realized that my passion was for HR duties, rather than IT, and when a position opened as Recruiter, I took the opportunity. My duties included, amongst others: Advertising jobs on portals and LinkedIn, Headhunting, Shortlisting candidates, Setting up interviews, Liaising with hiring managers and candidates and Providing detailed reports on a monthly basis.

My duties included: Typing letters to client to inform them of Conciliation / Arbitration proceedings with the CCMA / Bargaining councils, Drafting applications to the CCMA / Bargaining Councils on behalf of clients - which included investigations into the substantial and procedural fairness of dismissals, etc. Then, I was transferred internally to the Internal Training and Research department, where my duties included: Updating of contracts, policies and procedures, Research of new law as well as case law, and other administrative duties.
