Provide assistance with regard to labour budget. Evaluate and monitor trend analysis in respect of absenteeism and vacancy ratios and consult with line on action to be taken.Compile monthly reports on various trend analyses and recommend plan of action to line manger. Where action involves the update and/or amendment of policies/ processes or procedures, consult with HR Services. Pro-actively guide line on disciplinary processes and provide timeous advice on relevant practices, systems and tools to ensure sound employee/employer relations. Identify business needs and engage with ER Shared Service to benchmark for best practices and amend/ update policies procedures and guidelines accordingly. Foster constructive company/union relations within the Business Unit by facilitating communication between relevant internal stakeholders. Conducting a GAP analysis on individual developmental needs and in consultation with the HR Development Section advice line managers on the steps to be taken to close the gap to support the Business Unit’s succession and retention strategy.Monitoring AA profile of the site and advice line managers on the relevant legislation in that regard. Facilitate AA targets with line and provide them with frequent updates of actual versus targeted figures. Address all queries in terms of the boundaries of the relevant policies/ procedures and processes as provided. Monitor understudies development related to work permit holders in area of responsibility.
