- Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to processing - Process 3 way PO matching invoices – PO, receipt and invoice - Process invoices on Sage 300 - Ensure Namibian VAT application is correct - Register company on ITAS and keep ITAS up to date - Reconcile vendor statements with AP ledger, research and correct discrepancies - Prioritize invoices according to payment terms - Process payments on AP system by matching invoices payable to payment request - Respond to all vendor inquiries - Assist in month end closing - Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices - Inventory and warehouse control - Manage inventory and warehouse superintendent, purchasing officer, receiver and issuer - Assist with other projects/tasks as needed - Completion and submission of Import VAT, VAT and PAYE - Property administration (debt collection, monthly rent and utility invoicing) - Petty cash management - Load accounts payable on bank for approval
